I have recently concluded my degree at Birmingham City University studying fashion business and promotion, with a view to a future career in fashion buying. This course has given me insight into various career paths including buying, visual merchandising and marketing and many opportunities for industry experience. After a buying work placement and the completion of a module in buying and trend forecasting, I have established that this is my long-term career goal. I would describe myself as confident, organised, hardworking and a team player; skills that I believe are beneficial in a retail procurement environment. I have shown this throughout my part time jobs and through a charity catwalk event that I organised with a small team. My friends and colleagues would consider me as considerate, caring, fun, with a good sense of humour and a passion for everything I do. I genuinely try to do everything to the best of my ability and I'm happy to learn from others.
